400v Three phase electric hoist units are an option for temporary hire applications for the following reasons::

• Low voltage 48v control pendants
• Radio Remote Control available as an option
• M4 or M5 Hoist duty rating with 40% to 60% Motor duty for reliable operation
• Top limit switches for overtravel protection of load hook
• Slipping clutch safe working load overload protection
• Suitable for operation outdoors when provided with canvas weather covers
• Dust and water ingress rating of IP55
These chain hoists can be powered by portable 400v electrical power supplies when a permanent 400v electrical power supply is not available on site
Often used for larger capacity hire hoist options up to 5000 kg Swl for indoor or outdoor industrial applications or construction sites where air hoists are not suitable or practical, either due to the absence of an air supply or the need for higher operating speeds than those provided by a pneumatic hoist.
